Boogoolum is a special place. The house is a unique property from a particular era that is well cared for and a delight to stay in. It is very spacious with plenty of room for 12 people to enjoy each others company or find a quiet spot to enjoy the views from every room of the surrounded bush. We had a wonderful long weekend with friends to celebrate our special birthdays and found the house very comfortable and warm with the fire or one of the many heaters even in mid-winter. The bush setting is stunning and being able to wander the walking tracks to the lake and enjoy the native vegetation and sounds of wildlife made our stay very special. Thank you Ben for accommodating our request to host friends for dinner and for your quick responses to our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Amazing Property. Close to everything (food/wineries/walks) but tucked away. Great to walk around the property and see all the native animals, especially at the lagoon. Well appointed, open fire was sensational. It was the ideal location for a circuit breaker to life’s hectic pace...and so close to Melbourne.
'Spacious and secluded house, the perfect getaway!' Thank you for the hospitality we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely look to book with you again in the near future.
To the hosts. This was just the best break ever! We have been stuck in the city and it was great to get out!!! We really enjoyed the walks and seeing the Kangaroos next to the lake with our kids - amazing! ...and also being able to switch-off and just play games together in this spectacular sanctuary was priceless. Thanks for having us!
A very unique property. Having visited the Peninsula for years, I was amazed at the completely different flora at Boogoolum. The Grass Trees look amazing and you have complete seclusion from the outside world whilst being surrounded by nature. Highly recommended.
Thanks for a lovely time. Boogoolum is simply amazing, an oasis hidden away in Main Ridge. Huge house with plenty of room for the kids when they are exhausted from exploring the 50 acres, wow! Close to the best wineries, cheese company, beautiful beaches, and all that the Peninsula has to offer. We will be back.
